The first picture below is the existing fireplace and surround in the living room of this beautiful home. Over the course of 3 years the owners have had me add paneling to the Dining Room ceiling adjacent to the Living Room, the wall adjacent to the Fireplace and the corner framing the piano and this last project was paneling the coffered (angled) portion of the ceiling in the living room. Everything is solid rift sawn Oak . The second and third picture are the walls we added in 2008 and the last pictures are details of the ceiling just completed. All the woodwork was pre-finished in the shop to avoid the dust and mess associated with finishing on site. This process demands that great care is taken in the sizing of the panels and framing both in height and width but also in thickness.
